Freshly ripened red plums, vanilla buttercream, white nectarine, cherry that reminds me of kijafa wine, grape pomace, wet hay, raw almonds, sweet southern tea, fresh coconut, subdued oakiness. Nicely balanced with a very orchard fruit and vanilla forward palate. From my little experience, it has been the best cognac so far at this price point. The mellowness of the tannins make the distinction between VS and VSOP difficult to pick up on. Makes a fine bavette steak au poivre with tarragon.
