Honestly wasn’t too impressed. Nose wasn’t really all that and the taste (while good) was nothing worth the hype and you wouldn’t catch me dead paying secondary prices for it. This quality could be easily obtained elsewhere for less. I think the main reason many people like the pappy line is because there’s almost no ethanol burn or they mentally prepare themselves to like it based off what they paid for it as well as the reputation. Maybe my expectations were way too high. I’ll gladly let it keep the spotlight off many other options however. Hoping the 20 and 23 are much better.
