Great all-rounder as it has Speyside, Highland and Island character to it!
Nose: Sherry, sweet and a hint of peat.
Taste: more peat up front but still not more than 10 ppm, followed by a sweet and fruity character of the Sherry casks. All of this is balanced with a spiciness from the oak and distinct toffee notes.
Finish: medium warm dry finish
All in all a great balanced and complex Single Malt for 12 years and a great bargain for beginners and experienced drinkers.
