I will admit I was skeptical going in, but it does actually make a solid case for a gin/rye whiskey hybrid. How interesting! If you close your eyes it tastes like a peppery young rye whiskey. I'm not sure it's compelling enough to buy more than the 200ml format I got, but I'll keep my eye out for the "Reposado" version.
