Black Bull 12 Year (Duncan Taylor)
Blended — Scotland

For $36, it's a solid blend. Lots of fruit, apple, pear, lemon, cherry, with some vanilla, honey. There's also a little bit of a sparkling white wine-type impression I get from this. Not a lot of depth, and it's a little on the hot side. But I wouldn't hesitate much to pick it up again if looking for a fruity Speyside blend with a higher proof.

I had the Kyloe, it was decent but a little too much grain alcohol for me......yes Im a delicate flower
Great little blend, this. Black Bull Kyloe is good too.
@soonershrink Crazy. I’ve never researched, but based on seeing the label I had assumed they would include a fair amount of peat.
@angstrom I'd put them in the same ballpark. I think it would depend on if you prefer the profile of a fruity Speyside or something with peat. I didn't perceive any peat in the Bull.
Head to head…does this beat JW Black or CB Glasgow? Seems like it’s playing in the same space.
