Mild new unpolished leather with the finish absolutely fantastic light smokey & oaky in both taste & lingering finish. Absolutely one of my favorites. I absolutely see why this is a high demand & request. Probably one of my favorites of all time. Probably the smoothest whiskey I've ever had
