I think this is the perfect rum for the first two thirds of the experience. The nose is deep and decadent, and the front half of the palate delivers the same rich, oaky depth. Unfortunately, this takes a sharp turn at the finish and gets quite bitter. Maybe if you don't swallow this one it might remain perfect. Like Sovereignty, others from the ECS series that I've tried were better, namely the 2009 and Nobiliary. Thanks much to @ctbeck11 for the sample.
