Brown sugar, banana, darker fruits on the nose. Palate is gentler and subtler. Dark fruits remain with some oak coming through but not as overwhelmingly “bourbony” as I expected from the nose. Finish is shorter and thinner than most bourbons I’ve tried. Tiny hint of sawdust which is welcome.
