Ledaig Sinclair Series Rioja Cask
Single Malt — Isle of Mull , Scotland

Nose: Salt/saline, smoke, ash, char, peat, rose/floral
Palate: Almond, walnut, plum/raspberry, cranberries, dark chocolate, raspberry, dry wood shavings. Very dry and spicy.
Finish: Medium long finish. Clove, allspice, salt. Extremely dry smoke, wood shavings and almond. Light berry wisps.
This would be a session whisky, but it's just a little too dry. Nutty and oaky, coastal saline, smoke and peat, with a good amount of tart berry sweetness. A decent (very dry!) dram.

@cascode I agree completely. I’d happily pick up another bottle at some point. A good value easy drinker, even if it is a little dry.
Nailed it - I had the impression it was both a tad dry and also a bit thin. Still a decent dram for the money.
