Purchased this on a whim, expecting something similar to French Cognac. Boy, was I wrong! This reminds me a bit more of my bottle of Lepanto PX Solera Gran Reserva! Quite rum-like, with a bit of funkiness. No idea if that's due to the grape varietals, Caucasian oak, or distillation technique, but I love it! Definitely a hidden gem at an affordable price.
