Re-taste: This is a really good whiskey. I don't get all the low ratings - it's probably because people are name/hype chasing or price discriminating. Don't get me wrong I love my Ardbeg's and Lagavulins, but for the price, this is damn good. Bourbon notes stand out - caramel apples, ripe apricots, dried peaches and smoke. The peat comes in at the very end and very subtle. Well rounded and executed. Bargain deal here. Grab one you wont regret it.
