3.5 stars - Very good. 750 ml bottle.
Not your classic Booker’s.
This tastes like Baker’s or what I would imagine a cask strength Evan Williams to taste like.
Lots of sweet corn, peanut and oak. The normal Booker’s flavors of hay barn, dusty oak, and leather are turned down to a whisper. Surprisingly easy to drink neat.
Yeah, this definitely tastes just like Baker’s.

@angstrom likewise—not for a Bookers.
@PBMichiganWolverine Yikes! Three years ago I could usually find 2 years worth of releases still sitting on a shelf. Who would pay $65 for bourbon! At least my local shop sells at MSRP to whiskey rewards members. May not always get a bottle, but no way I pay $170.
@angstrom I’ve heard the new Lumberyard batch is really good, better than previous few years. I’m just surprised how much the price has climbed. These used to be $80, now the lowest I’m seeing is $170
