Wow! Just.... wow! Sweet, oaky notes, slight smoked flavor, just a hint of vanilla and cherry, smooth with a minor bite at the end. Great mixer for all cocktails... even better neat or smoked on a large rock. This is far better than whiskey than the price! Thoroughly impressed; and loving how cheap it is. $25 for 1.75 L?!... hard to beat. Only better whiskeys are >$60 for 750 mL. Old Grand Dad, Old Forester and Rittenhouse are very comparable to this. Not a fan of many other Evan Williams products... but this isn't just a home run, its a grand slam! Not sure why it is rated as low as it is.

How the F—K did CNN get in my comment???? Please disregard..
Been imbibing this stuff for years and loved your review! I’ve contributed a few reviews here but not for for the EW BIB. You just wrote it for me! LOL!! I’m a real aficionado of BIB bourbons, or any 100 proof or above. My favorite in that range is still Wild Turkey 101. But THIS is CNN one hell of a bang for the buck. Anyway, it puzzles me why so many poor reviews. I think people have a tendency to identify it with bottom shelf EW products. So it gets a bad rap. But in a blind tasting I truly believe EW BIB would surely get a much higher rating. Cheers!
Agreed. I was surprised at the low rating when I found it on here.
