Nose: cherry, oak, caramel, little mint, just a hint of barrel smoke, sweetness carries the day on the nose.
Body: medium to full
Palate: oooh that first sip neat is good. Packs a lot of flavor in that 108 proof. Caramel, salted caramel, oak the sweetness on the nose is muted on the palate by for me came through more on the back palate before giving way to the smoke In the finish. The mint on the nose is no where to be found on the palate. It’s a little dry which is more an observation than a critique, just leaves your mouth watering. But over all this is an big oaky caramelly sweet nosing whiskey
Finish: is long and smokey oak. My favorite kind of finish.
Note: this is really good. Lots of big bold flavor. This is just a real good bourbon. Lots of flavor, leaves nothing to the imagination nice flavor profile, nice long smokey finish. Super good
