A year ago this was the second whisky I tried. I thought it was better than Jack Daniel's - certainly good enough to keep trying whisky. After a year I figured I'm better equipped to properly evaluate the stuff, and now I have a Glencairn too. It turns out that this is worse than I remembered.
Nose: Alcohol, dark chocolate, candy corn, grass - it's an unpleasant nose.
Taste: Chocolate and corn, with a thin mouthfeel.
Finish: Short, with nothing but a thin oak.
