Pepper, brine, sweetness, peat, sea spray, iodine, thick vannila custard, oak. Well balanced, and fairly oily. Very "smooth" for a 48% ABV whisky, and barely any warmth on the way down.
It reminds me of more mature and well balanced version of Ardbeg Corryvreckan, neat. With a couple of drops of water, the pepper and woodiness is toned down, and the sherry cask influence begins to show much more on the pallette, which makes it more comparable to Uigeadail. It's beautiful.
