I remember when it was announced that Nirvana would be on MTV Unplugged. It sounded like a dumb, corporate-driven idea. The result was surprising. Powerful, original, and perhaps the best live album of all time.
Cask strength 55.9% ABV, 100% bourbon barrel Springbank carries the exact same energy. Spirit forward, grungy, sensory driven. Exceptional.
This drinks so easy for the high ABV. Willet Rye and Ardbeg Oogie are also equally easy to drink neat.

@LouisianaLonghorn - My local store recently had a bevy of Springbank. I picked up two 10 yr and one CS. I passed on the 15 yr and 18 yr (mainly since I never had a SB bottle, lots of $ to risk on something I might not like). Was their first SB shipment in over a year.
