Barrel 8842 107.2 proof Deep copper color. The nose has a lot of caramel, vanilla ice cream and Red Hots cinnamon candy, along with baked bread and a hint of chocolate-peppermint candy. Dense, slightly oily mouthfeel. The palate has more of that vanilla ice cream with salted caramel drizzle, with charred cinnamon stick, ground nutmeg, black pepper and a good amount of sweet oak. The finish is medium-long and heavy on the vanilla ice cream, baking spices and sweet oak. This is excellent and totally crushable, and I wish I had another bottle.
