Let this one breath for quite awhile before getting into it.
Refreshing and mildly sweet with a fairly oily mouth feel.
Nose. I get lots of apples and sweet maltiness with mild baking spices, and wood.
Palate. Very much like the nose with a touch of brine.
Finish. Consistent with palate slowly morphing to a delightfully long honey tobacco note.
I get all the satisfying rich notes I get from an Islay without the peat. I will be keeping a bottle of this on hand for sure.
