I’ve heard it said that a good whisky will take you on a journey and leave you with the desire for another sip. This whisky checks that box for me. The first sip took me through a symphony of flavors and I spent the rest of the glass trying to figure out what I just tasted.
Nose: Honey, heather, hay/grass, sweet malty notes, dried pineapple, pear, green apple, lemon, creme brûlée
Palate: Salted caramel, honey, toffee, poached pear, spice, fig, raisin
Finish: Caramel, spice (cinnamon and nutmeg)
