To be honest, it didn't surprise me. Even the Bulleit is not much inferior in taste characteristics. The first sip was promising with soft notes of vanilla, dried fruit and oak, however, as the bottle was going to be empty (approximately 2 weeks) the taste deteriorated exponentially. A similar drinking of the same Bulleit or Woodford did not change the taste so much, and their price is 2-3 times less. Bottom line - it's quite cool and cool to take somewhere in a bar, but not a whole bottle.
