Overall: A great value. Has the depth of flavor that I Iook for after about 20 minutes in the glass. Id love to compare this to Weller SR when those bottles were around $30, but those days are behind us.
Nose: Corn, bread, coconut. Really opens up to a maple syrup smell with 20 minutes.
Palate: Sweet and smooth at first, with a nice oaky spice on middle of the sip. With air it develops more distinct sweet bread notes, and thickens up the mouthfeel a nice amount.
Finish: Medium in length with a warm candied cherry on the exhale. The candied cherries morph into a banana bread, depending on the sip. I feel like this is where wheated bourbons really shine... at least this one.

Thanks for that insight brother! All the bottles of SR around here are around $100 and that feels exorbitant when there are so many grear options under 50 lol. I have some Makers Cask Strength Ill review here shortly
Weller SR is orchard fruits. This is baked goods and kitchen spices. I give a slight edge to Larceny. But Makers Mark beat both.
