Not sure if somethings was off. Was looking forward to this to be slightly better.

That’s happened to me on whiskeys before. Come back to it after a few days & see if there’s a difference in what you taste. Also, drink it down a few shots to get some air in the bottle. Those 2 things should help I hope.
