Picked this bottle up on our KBT trip back in May. Decided to pop it open on New Year’s eve, and was quite pleasantly surprised. Nothing out of the ordinary on the nose, fairly muted classic bourbon notes. Influence of the Bloody Butcher Corn is apparent on the palate, but fairly typical bourbon flavors otherwise. Short to medium finish. In my opinion, this is a good sipper. Not the best, but far from the worst. Interested to see how this bottle evolves during my time with it.
