Overall, Don Julio already makes great aged Tequila so, this step up definitely brings in everything that you would expect; it’s very smooth and delicious. The thing to consider is that, compared to the Añejo, or even the Reposado, you can still get Don Julio’s quality at a fraction of the price. Compared to Clase Azul, the palate is drier and, being an Añejo it definitely benefits from that “maturity”.
