More akin to a flavored vodka due to less juniper, and a lot more sweetness. The rhubarb gives it a lovely pink color, and just a hint of fruit towards the back of the palate. The ginger comes through nicely with a solid warming heat that lasts for a few minutes. This is near a cocktail in a bottle. You could easily stir this with ice, strain into a glass and be off to the races.
