Slightly dark penumbra on the nose, and yes, a chestnut sensibility. Nutty, with the malt in the background. A lovely tasting with orange blossom, crushed roasted hazelnut, soft baking spice, brown bread, Devon cream, mild tea and graham cracker. Spectacular flavor and a smooth, round mouthfeel. A long finish, ending on a hint of young wood. Highly recommended.
