Overall... Not bad, especially for the price. The peat is a little heavier than I prefer, but it's remarkably smooth. It drinks more like a 12 year than a 10. I would say it's probably the best you could find if someone wanted to try an islay for the first time. The peat and smoke are not overwhelming at all, so i would highly recommend if you want smoke flavors more up front but don't want something that just tastes like burnt moss oil. I don't love Islay's, but this one is alright.
