Very confusing tasting for me, especially since I’m a beginner. First sips were disappointing- harsh and hot. After my palate adjusted I felt a really nice rich bark flavor from the port wood. Final sips were delicious down the middle vanilla from the bourbon barrels. Love the light color. Nose is a bit hot with a touch of oak and vanilla. Just bought this bottle so I’m looking forward to coming back and understanding this one better.
