Four Roses Single Barrel is a solid bourbon. I get notes of caramel and brown sugar on the nose, followed by a little vanilla and a good amount of oak - with maybe a touch of citrus zest. On the palate, I get cinnamon, vanilla, spice from the rye, cherry, citrus custard, and brown sugar More traditional than complex in my opinion, but still very solid.
