Rich and spicy creme brulee on the tongue with loads of oak and a splash of cherry, reminds me of a barrel aged Vieux Carre cocktail. Not overly sweet, hallelujah, doesn’t veer into liquid dessert territory. Tannic, spicy finish reflects the overall balance. Delicious.
