Glencadam The Re-Awakening 13 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland

Mothballed in 2000 and reopened only three years later, marketeers obviously decided to celebrate Glencadam's big 're-awakening' with this release. Light citrus notes, honey and cinnamon greet the nose before fresh ginger, sourdough and pistachios give it an interesting twist. The fruity arrival accentuates apricots, banana and gentle oak spices, followed by grassy, zesty and slightly dry flavors. Spearmint, walnuts and salted caramel subside in the balanced and fairly long finish. It offers more complexity and depth than the 10-year-old, I am enjoying it!

I see the 15 yr
@Slainte-Mhath i don’t think I’ve ever seen it here in US.
@Ctrexman Is this bottle available in the US? There are not a lot of reviews on Glencadams in general.
Sounds like a profile I would enjoy
Additional comment: If you have never tasted Glencadam, give it a try. You get an honest, bourbon-matured malt with a craft presentation, and it doesn't break the bank. Recommended!
Additional information: This review is for batch 4, released in 2021, 5994 bottles.
