The nose doesn’t reveal much. The oak stands out first. Maple sweetness comes into the picture with a little brown sugar / molasses. The palette is freaking awesome. The sip dogs straight into a deep molasses maple syrup flavor. Reminds me of eating a big pancake breakfast in a five star 24/7 diner. I don’t know where the 64% alcohol hides either. There is a dry oak note that hangs out in the background, but it’s not distracting or offputting. The finish is awesome too. Just when it the flavor begins to fade, it comes back and hangs on the back of the tongue in a carmel sweet sort of way. Very enjoyable
