Nose has a smoky, grassy, briney note swirling around pear and apple like fall in New Hampshire. Palate is fruity with oak and wet grass. Cinnamon and clove and pepper show up on the finish with more oak. It’s too expensive for cocktails so the question you need to ask is whether it stacks up against other sipping bourbons at this price point. Knob Creek 120 may have something to say about that.
