Nose: Wood. Sweet, dried red fruits. Maple syrup.
Palate: Light and thin body. Raisins. Some very subtle jamaican ginger cake notes or maybe soreen cake.
Finish: Gentle barrel wood. Developing baking spices. The aftertaste is that of a tawny port with a tannic dryness.
I wasn't sold on this at first but it got a little more complex in a short amount of time. It's easy to dismiss this as cheap swill but it has its place.
