I went inside of my local store to get EW BiB, and what did I see! That's right, Early Times BiB, and since I've never had it, and could'nt argue with the price I felt it was only right to buy. The nose starts off soft and very inviting, with sweet dried fruit notes (think pineapple, and oranges) then leading to soft light wood, whiffs of grain (similar to oatmeal). On the palate I was immediately greeted with heat that fades away, making for an easy sip. I can taste the classic bourbon notes of caramel, light brown sugar, and candy corn. For this to be 100 proof, it sure does not drink like it. I enjoyed this in a Glencairn glass... Neat of course, but I'm sure a block of ice will open this up even more. All in all, it's a great buy at 25 bucks, especially with the price increases that have occured.
