Nose: Honey, Maple Syrup, Light Raisin, Grass, Stone Fruit, Cereal grain, Apple, Vanilla, Sharp Lemon Citrus. Palate: Lightly Dried Fruit, Malt,Umami, Quince, Grass, Nuts, Apple, Tangy Citrus, Light Floral notes, Long but Mild Lemony Vanilla finish. This is a robust whisky, very spirit forward, strong citrus throughout, sharp around the edges with the quince notes but underneath all that there are hints of sweetness that compliment the whisky well. I personally was hoping for a little bit more of the honey and maple syrup I got on the nose but I still found it very enjoyable. If you're looking for an interesting whisky this is a great bottle to snag.
