Loads of sweet sherry on the nose, with a rich smokey malt base. Bright, engaging and enticing. On the palate, the sweetness continues with a lovely, enveloping blanket of sherry character. The whiskey has beautifully melded with the casks and hits all of the right marks. The body, the sustained finish, and most of all, the flavors all add up to a rousing success. This is the epitome of a sipping whisky. Highly recommended.
