Nose: Very sweet and creamy vanilla, corn and oak, fortified wine/raisins, flowery. Palate: Immediately sweet creamy corn and whipped cream vanilla, spicy pepper, fresh sweet oak, brown sugar, savory and slightly salted caramel and candy corn with slight bitter/sourness, tangy, fortified wine, sweet/drying combination in the mouth. Finish: Short-medium, slight lingering warming spice with other aformentained notes carrying in from the palate, aftertaste shortly blooms of candy cherry, or some red candied fruit, cinnamon apple pie, heavily roasted nuts/corn/barrel that lingers for minutes, hint of dried orange, smooth. Texture: Light-medium, a little watery and underwhelming. Great value 50-percenter.
