Perfect smoke and a nice toffee undertone to finish. Has a bit of an alcohol bite at first then settles to a salty brine sugar melt. The smell perplexes me, I want to say it’s formaldehyde? Not a great smell and that may not be accurate but, tastes so much better than its nose which I now know
is a mezcal tequila aroma.
Very light almost clear in colour like water.
Almost bought Ardbeg 10 instead but, glad I picked this up.
