Not your grandparents’ Akvavit:This might be my favourite new spirit. Tried while on holiday in Colorado and was not expecting to be so pleasantly surprised. Who knew it could be so good in hot chocolate!!! Had to try (chilled, the old skool way) right after. Did not disappoint. I could see using in place of gin too! If only we could get some in the UK!
