Batch C923
Possibly bottle of the year.
Very full and sweet on the nose. In the words of my wife "its like smelling a chocolate covered cherry, dipped in caramel"
I get lots of deep sweetness, maybe over ripened plum/raisin, almost a grape jelly, chocolate notes, macerated berry. You can smell the proof, but not as much as youd expect on a 133.
Palate is definitely warm, the spice is there, at shows up almost immediately, but the deep flavors still manage to come up front with force. The nose carries right over to the taste buds. As you are getting to the finish the kentucky hug is great, nice and warm across the chest, but not a hard burn that lasts in the throat and back of mouth. Deep cherry and baking spice lingers well, with a full body feeling left in the mouth

This has got immensely positive reviews from all…and one was surprised why this isn’t a BTAC level limited release
