Rye alwasy brings a bite, but this one brings an almost tropical fun which is surprising for somethimg distilled in non-tropical Canada. It doesnt have the caramel depths of a bourbon but it is a nicd departure from everything else on the shelf. The aging in madeira barrels is something fun and unique
