Just a disclaimer, I really enjoy this whiskey.
Nose: simular to the scent after a light rain on fresh mown grass, nuttiness, some light spice, and a hint of smoky oak. In the words of Master Distiller David Stewart, "I'm a noser," and I could nose this whiskey till in high.
Palate: just the right amount of fall spice. you can taste over and over the citrus fruits and raisins, minerals, and a hint of smoky oak
The finish is smooth with notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and marzipan. The finish lingers and It wonderful.
This is probably the best everyday sipper you can have.
