The nose is light, predominantly barley, with a hint of dried grass and a very slight jasmine if one takes a deep enough breath. It is strange, but not unpleasant, incredibly reminiscent of wet clay.
The palette is similar. The vegetal notes take the forefront, with barely in the background, echoed by a subtle melon/apple sweetness.
The finish is astringent, with a green apple and melon note.
Overall, it is light, and the wet clay note is quite off-putting to me, in all honesty. Not unpleasant, but I am likely to relegate it to mixing in chuhais
