Ezra Brooks Cask Strength Single Barrel
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA

This single barrel store pick came from a tasting they had.
I’m still mostly unable to pick out more simple notes, in this or other bourbons.
Nose: I get ethanol and some sweetness, maybe vanilla.
Palate: I get the same as the nose, ethanol up front with sweet vanill and a hint of spiciness.
Mouthfeel: not overly oily but not thin. Coats my mouth. Legs are many and run down the glass.
Evolution: It lingers on the palate. The ethanol moves to the chest and vanilla, and spices remain.
Its tough to get over the proof at first, but very pleasant and drinkable. Not exciting in any real way, but not disappointing.
