NEAT
NOSE - Candied cherries, Honey, Caramel, and Light oak
PALATE - Palate follows the nose, but the intensity of each note varies with each sip. Given the proof, it’s impressive how bold the flavors are. The most impressive thing about this pour is the mouthfeel. This is easily the smoohest and most ‘silky’ bourbon I’ve had the pleasure of tasting.
FINISH - Medium. Sweet honey and caramel with some oak on the back-end.
BUY? - Absolutely, but I would hesitate paying over retail. Some stores can get crazy on their prices. I definitely wouldn’t pay if it’s more than 50 over retail.
BUY AGAIN? - If Im lucky! I think I’d probably resort to paying retail myself in the future. My wife secured this one as a present for $40 over.
