I can detect dried fruits, a bit of apple, dark raisins and slight hint of ripe pineapple,. Oh, and there’s a lovely hint of chocolate too! Surprisingly, it’s not spicy on the nose; instead, I notice subtle flavors of plum and vanilla. Adding a spoon of water revealed some floral notes. Palate: When I take a sip, the whisky tastes like papaya and lots of dried fruits., slightly oily. The sweetness is balanced by spiciness—kind of like cloves and cinnamon. And the texture in my mouth feels rich and satisfying. Finish: The best part? The finish! After I swallow, the papaya flavor stays with me, along with a strong spice taste—maybe cloves. It’s a slow, almost leisurely finish that warms me up as it goes down. And that spicy feeling lasts for about a minute . Overall, the Indri Trini whisky has a delightful fruity smell, a complex taste, and a memorable finish. Im on the way to finish the bottle. Ill surely buy the “DRU” the cask strength version.
