Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Taste- 2 oz, neat in glen cairn, bottle has been ooened since 2020 Nose- Cherry, oak, heavy caramel Palate- Cherry and caramel abound. There is also some smoke and oak to balance the delicious fruit flavors Finish- long and satisfying. Go out on a note of cherry, Wild Turkey funk earthiness Overall- this is CN-F single barrel, floor #6......the same area as Russell's Rickhouse select. I can see why the new bottling has cause such a stir! The notes here are phenomanlly delicious. The best that Russell's has to offer. It is such a shame that what was a store pick for 59.99 now goes for vastly more re-packaged. This is a homage to all that was good when bourbon wasn't quite the rarity for "the good stuff" as it is now. Enjoying this "Kind of a dusty."
