Can smell the maple right away, no harshness to it at all…either the smell or the first sip. Sort of pour that gets sweeter as it airs and aggresively over ice. The sort of pour that you will forget yourself and have more than you expect to. It’s not complex, and I chose it over going with Booker’s tonight. Worth opening and enjoying by a fire or outside in the evening. Candidly tastes like a little sweeter version of Weller Special Reserve though I enjoy the cinnamon forward in that choice more.
